Party Party!

Once again, I’m amazed at the projects you continue to come up with from Children at Play Fabric! I love seeing them over at the FLICKR group, and we talk a lot about them on my Facebook page, but sometimes I just need to share here on the blog. These pics are from the Amy Atlas Blog which  featured these designs by Ruby May Designs.

I am starting to think about my own toddler’s birthday coming soon, and this inspired me! And to think that the fabric is my own making…just goes to show how creative you all are and give me so many ideas. I just love it!  You all inspire me so much!

Ruby put this party together so sweetly. It’s the perfect mix of sweet but not too much!

I love how she used this panel On Parade fabric for the backdrop. I’m a big fan of panel prints,  and I can’t seem to get tired of them! So many uses!

Anyways, here’s some eye candy for your weekend, and maybe will inspire you with spring in the air!

Such a darling celebration Ruby May! Head on over to the FLICKR group to see more.

(Soon there will be another fabric collection to add to the mix! I’m hooked:)

Happy Friday! I’ve got LOTS planned to show you next week. Hee Hee:)

I have been checking back every day for a fabric sneak peak…maybe next week. Adorable party… I need to start getting ideas as my baby will be 1 in May. I checked out your whole paper line on the making memories blog and am hoping it will be out in time to use it. Hope you have a fun weekend!

This is wonderful! So very inspiring. What a great way to use the panel that can be used over and over again.

Thank you so much for sharing this on your blog Sarah Jane. I absolutely fell in love with this fabric the first time I saw it. Its so cheerful, and everytime I look at the card it makes me smile.
The bunting is now hanging in Archie’s room, and he points at it and says “Party”!, am going to hang the canvas there too.
With all the technology and games etc in the world now, the print on the fabric reminds me of what children love most -Play, and that the most enjoyment at the party was not from fancy clowns or magicians, but from playing old fashioned party games, like relay races, Musical statues etc.
    Thanks so much again.

I keep checking your blog to check whether you have created a new line- so excited now to hear you have done so! Perhaps it will feature in my next, next quilt- for my second daughter,s big girl quilt!! Suz

These are pretty ways to decorate for a party. The next birthday for my grandson will be on 13 July when he will be one year old (I have his picture on my current post.) We could decorate with the usual 14 of July type things (which in the Anglo-Saxon countries they call Bastille Day, but we don’t.) I think elaborate children birthday parties are something new as we never did that much decorating when my children were small – or maybe it is also an American culture thing. Growing up in France I never had a birthday party with friends until I was 18 then we had a huge one, with a DJ and dancing.
