Magic.
October 01, 2009

Autumn. Hands down my favorite season. Growing up back east, I have learned since moving to always surround myself with trees. Any kind of tree. And lucky for us, our neighbor has fruit trees. Lots of them. With a garden to match. And today, we harvested the first of the apples. It’s that time of year. There is a magic in the air…you can even taste it.
Enjoy your weekend!
**A little bird told me there is some grand giveaway fun planned for Monday…come on over…it’ll be a party!

great photos, I love trees, unfortunately we don’t have too many here.
It’s just turned spring here and my girls and I noticed some promising bud’s upon our apple tree “pinkabelle” just yesterday. Hopefully we’ll have a lovely crop of apples in a few months!
Thanks for sharing such darling pictures.
PS love the backpack!
Isn’t the backpack great? And yes…it’s plastic and pink. Something you learn just not to fight over. He is quite attached to that thing:) It makes me smile.
where back east are you from? i grew up in south jersey and i miss the trees so much. the colors in the mountains are making me happy this week. i miss fall in the east
It’s hard moving from the luscious green of the east to the desertness of the west. Although the desert has it’s beauty nothing beats the fall of the east! We’ve been harvesting apples from our orchard too. I love that first big Crunch when biting into a freshly picked apple!
Ooooh, that is magic! Promise me you’ll make (and devour) a warm cobbler!
Fall is so magical. I am envious of your apple picking trip
So glad to have followed you to your blog here, what a fun place and beautiful art
so pretty! I wish our orchard had that green of grass.
Its turned to winter here in Logan, I don’t know how or why!
Thanks for the info. I often read here…
