Sugar and spice.

Thrilled to be drawing again. Here is what I came up with for Addie and Ian’s party invites. They are 12 months apart and a few days, and so this year we are sporting a combined party complete with lollipops and sweets of all kinds. I can’t wait to see what we come up with…a Hansel and Gretel theme is coming to mind! Now to start the baking…

Happy Birthday to your darling kids! Natalie’s is this week too, you were right, having a winter baby has been fun!
The invitation looks gorgeous Sarah! 3 and 4 already, where does the time go…?

Oooo! A Hansel and Gretel theme! Sounds fabulous! On a related note, one of my freshman year roommates was named Hansel — yes, she was a girl! Go figure!
Oh how fun! I love them!
What a great theme for a combined birthday.
Can’t wait to see pictures.
Sarah – I love the invitations. I am such a fan of your beautiful work. I have several prints in mind to buy…just saving my pennies…
i am thrilled you’re drawing again also. good luck. i will be in touch soon to order my works of art including june’s white dandelion, lavender blue walking & winter cheer. thanks!
So cute, I love it! I thought mine were close together at 16 months, I can see why you took a break, but I bet now that they’re older you’re loving how close in age they are, I know I do.
So sweet! Love the idea of the Hansel & Gretel theme.
Oh no! I was born on 24 December and my brother on 29 December, two years apart . As a child I had to share my birth day party with my brother which was held on a day that would not interfere with Jesus birth day celebration. I have always felt that my birth (and therefore I) was not important enough to be given individual celebration on the day of my birth. I am 60 now and that feeling of not being worthy has only escalated with time. To share a card (even a beautiful one)would just be too much.
Sounds fabulous! And the invitations are amazing. Oh to be so talented! Good luck with everything!
these are so sweet Sarah! Can I come to the party too? Grins*
so so nicely done. these are things your children will save and enjoy years later.
