au revoir!

9:13 am

My little brother (well, he isn’t so little any more) is leaving to serve a mission for our church in Geneva Switzerland tomorrow. He will be in Switerland for 2 years teaching and giving service and I couldn’t be more proud of him. I am the oldest of five kids (this pic was our last siblings picture taken at the beach where we all crammed into this massive hole the Christopher dug…Christopher is the second from the right) and I love my family so much! We are a bunch of weirdos, but we sure have a lot of fun! We will miss you terribly Christopher, but we love you and can’t wait to hear about your amazing experiences!

Switzerland will be a very cool mission I think. I’ve always wanted to go either to Spain, England, or Mexico - the pull of my ancestors I guess. Best of luck to your brother!

What a good kid he is! He gave a wonderful talk on Sunday–very inspiring and mature.

I have only been coming here for abuot a week. I soooo love your illustrations!

This is a fantastic photo. I have two sibs and I just don’t really think either of them would consider getting into a big hole to have their picture taken. My twin might, but my brother, not so much. It’s weird, because with 3 of us, you’d assume we’re really close, but my brother opted out along the way somewhere. My twin is in California and I’m here in Michigan, but we are quite close still. Just miss her lots.

Anyhoo…. you all look great in the photo.

And the only reason I haven’t bought something from your shop yet is because I cannot narrow down my Wish List. I have a kid’s room to decorate (hubby and I are becoming licensed Foster Parents) and I can’t wait to used some of your pictures!

Best of luck to your brother! I lived in Geneva for a few years when I was younger and it is an incredibly beautiful and magical place. The members there are lovely too, I’m sure it will be an amazing experience for your brother. What a cute picture as well!
