LAST DAY FOR SARAH JANE PAPER GOODS
Well, folks. Today is the day. I will no longer be selling any more paper goods out of the shop. As of tomorrow, I will ONLY have my prints, jewelry and PDFS available.
So, if you were thinking about purchasing, but forgot, get them today!
I’m refocussing my efforts on more art making next year (more fabric designs, custom portraits and book illustration) and cleaning out the shop is prepping me to be more able to focus on what’s most important for me right now.
It’s all in the CLEARANCE section right now, so grab it while you can!
I’m sad to close out of this phase, but happy to move forward. Thanks for all your support over the years! It’s been good fun.
STUDIO SALE
CLOSED
As we are redoing the kids rooms, we’re also clearing out the garage, closets, etc. and I’m needing to make more room in my studio. But it’s filled with fabric, random art prints, left over stationery, extra embroidery patterns…you name it.
I’ve run out of shelf space, and I need to make more room!
So, what I’ve done, is filled 30 Priority Mail boxes with:
- USA & INTERNATIONAL RESIDENTS:
- 10 fat quarters of both my OUT TO SEA and/or CHILDREN AT PLAY fabric collections
- 8 1/4 yard cuts of OUT TO SEA and/or CHILDREN AT PLAY fabric collections
- over 40 pieces of stationery
- 4+ Embroidery Patterns
- Random Scrapbook papers in the CHILDREN AT PLAY design
- A coupon for 10% off your next purchase
- A nice note from me:)
USA RESIDENTS ONLY:
- 1-2 random art prints, most likely out-of-print or signed and dated from a while back
- 2+ catalogs of my fabric collections
- random fabric scraps
This totals to over $100-150 worth in products!
But I’ve priced them at $60 each (shipping is included) and will invoice all international orders for the difference.
Note that Australia/Pacific buyers will have the chance to order later in the day.
I can’t promise what you will get EXACTLY (thus the reduction in cost) but I can promise that they are all going to be wonderful. Most of it is products I currently have in my shop, but there will be some things that are no longer available, out of print, or discontinued. Maybe even some hand printed scraps.
If you have something in particular that you would LIKE to see, feel free to mention it in the customer text box at checkout, but no promises!
And if these sell out, I think I’ll try and do another clearing out at the top of the year.

Products I haven’t sold in years, other’s that never made it to the shop, and products that I have now, but will no longer be selling any more! Mostly Sarah Jane products that I’ve been holding on to, but don’t have room any more. Want some?
But they are mystery boxes…meaning you won’t know EXACTLY what you will get…but I can promise you you are going to love it.

And then these canvas pillows with hand stitching….LOVE!
And the quilts are to die for. They forgot to open up the quilts to show the full design (oops!) but I promise, they are amazing. This one for instance, is rows of chevron, alternating with white.
These aprons are reversible, which I Love!! We have a few reversible aprons at home, and I think they are adorable.
Quilts sewn and quilted by the amazing April of Prairie Grass Patterns, Pillows sewn by Sachiko of Tea Rose Home and Susan of Lil’ Tulip and Aprons by Gina of Party of Eight.
They lovingly worked together with me while I designed all the products and they sewed them together….they turned out amazing.
What a treat! I’ll be shipping them from my studio with lots of love!

Updates and such.
Hello!
Oh wow. What a week it’s been! I’m still so overwhelmed by the response to The Portrait Project. I honestly had no clue how much enthusiasm there would be. Really.
It sold out in less than 24 hours (all the slots I had available for 2013) and there are a couple hundred on the waiting list. If I had known how popular this would be, I would have been a bit more prepared. Well, the truth is I care about getting everyone of you art work…but I’m kinda short on time and hands…so I’m still figuring out how to make that work. But good news is, I think I’m making a lot more room from artwork in the future for sure!
If you are on the wait list (you know, cause you emailed me) I’m going to be in touch shortly. But as it stands, I’m going to be doing what I can this year, and then opening it up again by maybe the summer, or more likely a year from now.
But thanks to all who purchased! I can’t wait to get started!
On another note, we have a few more things up our sleeves here that I’m super excited to introduce to you. So be on the look out. I think Friday I’ll have an announcement that will be super exciting. So stay tuned!

Thought I should give you a heads up, so that you know what’s going to be going on in the shop this weekend!
And remember, I’m clearing out all of our paper goods, and won’t be selling them after Dec. 20th!
We’re going to be SLASHING our clearance (was 30% but now down to 60%) so do the math, and the clearance section is nearly free.

Clearing the shelves.
So, today is kind of a big deal. I have 61 more days until the shop will no longer carry paper goods! No more Iron-on embroidery patterns, folded cards, holiday tags, bookplates or journals.
*But to clarify: I WILL be keeping all Art prints, PDFS and jewelry. Everything else is clearing out.
This has been a hard decision (as I was having grand plans to add to this list of lovely things!) But, after a long (very long!) hard think, I’ve come to terms with the fact that at this time in my life right now, I want to spend more time with my creative self than my manager self. Lots of product=less time to be creative and come up with amazing and genius art all the time (truth) and I want to spend more time with my children and less time infront of a computer (more truth).
And since more things can’t exist in a space that’s already full, I’m clearing out.
So, as of today, all paper good items that will be gone by Dec. 20th are on clearance, and will be until they are all sold out! So stock up, cause I don’t have plans to bring them back any time soon!
It feels good to clear out, but do take care of them! It’s sad to see them go.
Thanks for all your support! It’s exciting to make changes and move forward. I’ve got a good feeling about all this.

New Sarah Jane: Part 4
I can honestly say I’ve been wanting to make this update for well over a year.
You know that feeling when you’ve gone through that closet in your house that never seems to be organized? and then you clean it out so well you feel like you could call Martha and tell her about it?
