dragon invite web

Today’s warm up sketch turned into Ian’s birthday invitations. Not a bad way to get 2 things done at once!

It’s a dragon party, and I’m trying to figure out what that means. Not really sure yet. But I’m sure our Encyclopedia of Dragons will give me some hints (like translating dragon script and figuring out clues for a scavenger hunt?)

Ideas welcome:)

And thanks for all your well wishes!! It’s nice to finally make the announcement. That belly of mine finally has an excuse!

I did a monster/dragon party for my son last year. It was fun, and we made monster/dragon puppets. I had plain green puppets and cut out felt wings and horns and googly eyes and pom poms and other fun things. They got to customize their own puppet. Lots of fun, but it was a lot of work. I didn’t even get around to blogging about it. Good luck! The invitation is darling!

    I’m on day 3..

Cool dragon! I think sometime you should do a fantasy fabric line. Unicorns, dragons, fairies,…? Anyway, my kids would love it! Good luck with the dragon party!
