I have grand plans for the fat quarters. A very good friend of mine has a daughter who loves a children’s show that has pirates. It has been one of the few things that has made this sweet little baby happy as she received chemo for neuroblastoma over the last 6 months. I am planning on making this sweet, strong 15 month girl accessories and an outfit for what will hopefully be her NED (no evidence of disease) party. Thank you for the chance to win!

I would use the cards to write Christmas letters to my friends that remind them to enjoy the whimsical and wonderful details of childhood, Id choose the art picture to capture and remember how precious these child-full days are, even though full of sleep deprivation, Id use the fabric to sew a delicious yummy snuggle rug to tuck my three boys under on the couch, and Id sit and embroider, slowly, just because its good to slow down, the ‘Be Still’ picture, and remind myself that there is nothing to fear when I hold God centre of the perspective of my life, even in the rough waves and the stormy seas.

I forgot to tell you what I hope to do!!! I wish for the fabric bundle so that I can make pirate pillows and other decorations for my daughter’s room. She is only two, but with an older brother is already a full on pirate. We are going to be taking her crib down and putting her in a bed, and I’d like to make a girl pirate blanket and pillow for her little toddler bed.

And finally with #5, I would embroider pillow cases, place one in her bed and one on her rocking chair. Oh, how sweet it would be. I’d love to win! Please pick me!

  • Sharna

I am a Social Studies Education major taking 21 credits this semester, gearing up for student teaching in the spring. When I feel stressed out—which is often—I think about having a baby. My husband and I are planning on trying this summer after I have graduated in May. We dream of a pirate nursery (that is how I discovered your Out to Sea!) If I received out to sea fabric, it would make me laugh and smile at the same time. I would keep dreaming about how I will use it in the nursery—a dream that will help me get through all the stresses the at come with being a full time student.

  • Tiffany

I would definitely be sewing some clothes for my kids with the fabric from the fat quarters!

  • http://www.bumblebeegrace.blogspot.com Melissa Ann

No lie. I’m totally in the middle of turning my twins bedroom into an Pirate girls nook featuring a loft bed, a teepee tent, Out to Sea quilts and floor pillows, and (hopefully) a Be still embroidery. Needless to say… I think i’d be over the moon most about the embroidery patterns. It’s cold… I just want to stitch and watch tv with my husband in the evening. And I have one quilt back finished. My Aerie keeps walking around whispering “my quilt” and stroking the blue whales/narwhals while dragging it after her :)

  • Julia

So pretty, I would make pillows for my grandchildren and decorate their room with the prints. Thank you

Our children are now in their early to late twenties, in college…and one of my nieces just married! I would use the embroidery patterns &/or fabric to make each of the nieces & nephews incl my own son and daughter gifts that would remind them of the wonderful “family days” that we enjoyed thru the years on these wonderful beach vacations.

Oh gosh. Where do I even begin? I just bought some of your Out To Sea to make matching sets for my kids. I want a dress for the baby, a tie for my son, and skirts for the big girls. One has a perfect JCrew tee to match, but the other does not and an embroidered tee would be a perfect finish. That’s the first thing I’d do!
I’m redoing the baby’s room right now because she never got a proper nursery in our move. I would hang one of your prints in there for sure. I love the print of the dress. It’s one of my absolute favorites!

Wow! Congratulations on your 5 year success! My 10 year old daughter and I are so in love with the Out To Sea collection. If we were lucky enough to win, we would make a quilt for her bed with the fabrics and embroidery patterns, hang the prints in her room, and then figure out the rest. Since she was old enough to understand, she knows I was a mermaid when she was in my tummy and I lost my tail the day she was born. Her favorite stuffed pets are her octopi and sea creatures – Red Tako, Blue Tako, baby Tako, and Big Sea Turtle. (Tako is Japanese for octopus). Winning your generous gifts would be so fantastic. PS. The print of the little brown haired mermaid girl and octopus COULD be my BabyBird. You must have had her in mind when you sketched it.

My wife and I separated Last year September, I will agree I wasn’t true to myself and her. But i did all I could let her have a good life I did put all my energy into our little family as we have 2 beautiful kids.because I worked As a waiter she didn’t really like that for a career, she thought i didn’t want to do well in my life. last year as the harsh finance situation hit as we’ve been suffering with our finance for a while she decided to end our marriage. which i was very devastated!! to lose the love of my life, but a month after separation i went to France for 10days to clear my head. when i got back she wanted me back but she didn’t want romantic side of it a month after xmas she told me again that she cant do it anymore as our finance was at lowest. then we made a decision to end it to sort our lives out…but my prayer everyday for her to realize that i am not a loser all i wanted is to do what i could to put food on the table and roof over their head. since the second separation i am qualified football coach and fitness instructor and doing more toward my career but I don’t want to get into a relationship with another woman when my wife and I suffered all of this years when my career takes of shes not there to enjoy it with me..I really want her back in my life so i contacted this spell caster Meruja owo who now help me to bring her back, we now have a happy family together with my wife. If you want his help you reach him via email at merujaowo101@live.com you are well come!
