Finn’s Room.

February 17, 2011

I love seeing room tours. Don’t you? This orange and grey nursery was featured on Oh Dee Doh yesterday, and when I caught sight of it I fell in love.  I love how she incorporated the “Take Me For A Walk” print. (I think that’s an 11×14 size if I’m not mistaken).

And the colors work great. Some of my favorites.

Lillie did a great job putting this room together. You’ll have to check out her blog and  photography too. Her photography is super wonderful!

Finn (don’t you love that name?) has a great set up. I’m still working on ours…but I go back and forth too much with what I want. I admire Lillie for just going for it!

Thanks for sharing!

**If you have any prints of Sarah Jane art that you wish to photograph and share, please do! I love seeing the spaces you put in them in and how you choose to display:)

I have your My Little Lamb print up in my daughter’s room, where it goes perfectly with her “big girl room” color scheme. She LOVES it and points it out and talks about it like it’s her lamb. She loves to sing Mary Had a Little Lamb with her name inserted instead of Mary’s, too. Thanks for making your art! Here’s a photo of it in her space:

I love this room! Great post. Those grey/white walls are gorgeous. I will have to share some pics of the prints I have up in my house. They are my most favorite artwork in the house!

    Hi Sarah!

How fun to see Finn’s room on your lovely blog. You must know that that “take a walk” print was one of the first things I KNEW I wanted in my baby’s nursery when I found out he was a boy. I emailed you a while back (don’t know if you remember) because I was hoping to get a really big one like I’d seen once, in that photo with the jenny lind crib. :) Luckily, the 11×14 fit beautifully in that little corner. I plan on getting some cute girly prints (probably the one where she’s blowing a dandelion) for my girls’ room if I ever get around to their walls… I just think your artwork is so charming.

And I think I discovered you’re related to some good friends of ours… Tyler and Ambyr Nielsen? Such a small world. THanks again!

[...] 2. I LOVE the stripes on the wall! I’m always afraid to do stuff like this and tend to design via the safe side but I’m seriously considering this. It really adds a lot of personality to the room. I’m also a little obsessed with grey right now so that may have drawn me to this nursery as well. [source] [...]
